Were We Really Just Rapidly Acquiring A Classic Ford Mustang
I really haven’t much gotten to speak on my site nearly as often as I might like, on account of the fact that I have been running around town with my old man manage his wet & wild midlife crisis. True, some would argue it’s not as far out as it could be. How it went, I mean how he did it was he dressed up like he was Fonzie or something, and come over to my crib and casually inform me, in his hippest tone of voice: “Put some shades on, bro, you and I are going scouting for some classic Ford Mustang Sales. You better believe it, dude, I’m finally going to buy an old school muscle car.”
Next thing I know the two of us were hopping around to a few of those crazy vintage car sales lots that everybody is just about convinced the mob owns and operates, and I can’t believe it when this wild old guy cut a check on the spot, for a very sparkly classic car. It’s an impressive item. It sounded really nice as well.
There’s a reason why I wrote about that sound in the past tense. It sounded amazing right up until it rendered itself silent. The old man tells me that it’s a pretty simple problem and that all he requires is the right part. Of course, it can’t possibly be as easy to pick up classic Ford Mustang parts as it was over a million years ago, but he swears there is a really sizable aftermarket for them still. From what I’m told the the best bet for finding parts for 1968 Mustangs is via web auctions, since you can find them refurbished and often even brand new. Not necessarily that inexpensive, however… Think about it, we’re talking about ancient car parts.
I guess it could’ve been worse… He could have got himself a volkswagen bus.
